About The Tour
Relax and enjoy a comfortable ride in our plush custom snowcat as it climbs to the trip starting elevation of close to 8,000 feet. Once at the summit, we’ll gear up and explore gently rolling terrain featuring intriguing rock outcroppings, old-growth forests, and marshmallow-like snow formations. As part of our Sierra Snowshoeing experience, we’ll peer down into deep creeks and across high alpine views south toward Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows resorts, and north toward Donner Pass and Castle Peak wilderness areas. Groomed and ungroomed trails are available for every age, skill, and fitness level. Tours are led by personable guides well-versed in the local geology, wildlife, and plant life. Trips include snowshoe rental, professional guide service, and options for those seeking more adventure with Backcountry Touring Skis. See detailed booking policiesWhere to meet | Itinerary
