Wake up in the zone
Wake up in the heart of the North Tahoe backcountry, at the base of some of our premiere terrain, for a full day of cat skiing or backcountry ski touring.
The flow is simple. Meet at the PCS trailhead at 8am with your bags packed and ready to ski or ride. We take you into the backcountry to cat ski (or ski tour) for a full day, ending with a last run that takes you to the Lost Trail Lodge, where your bags are waiting and the fire is lit. Settle in, aprés, relax in our wood burning sauna, eat a chef prepared meal, and wake up ready to do it again.
Eat. Sleep. Ski. Repeat. No cars, no traffic. It's that simple.
The Adventure

Stay one night or several. Combine snowcat skiing with guided backcountry ski touring. Build a private group adventure with your whole crew.
We'll help you put together the right combination based on your group size, dates, and skiing objectives, including transportation times.
Because both Lodge availability and skiing availability need to line up, all Lodge & Ski trips are booked directly through PCS.

Lodge Rates
Ski + Ride days: Add snowcat skiing or guided touring at PCS rates.
Lodge — Trailhead Transportation: Included for all multi-day catskiing and cat-assisted trips. Additional $250 for all other groups.
Each of our 4 bedrooms has one queen or king bed, private full bathroom, and two single beds in loft.
1/2 lodge is two rooms, Full lodge is 4 rooms - each sleeping 3-4 people depending on how you want to divide your group.
